Step onboard your bus to start your tour, leaving the cruise port behind as you drive by the Great Salt Pond in Philipsburg arriving to the French Side of the island to our First Stop in Lucas Bay for The Moses Walk Grab your water shoes and get ready for a unique island adventure! Walk from the shoreline through the Atlantic Ocean toward a beautiful coral reef just a few feet offshore. This natural tidal pathway can be crossed on foot, with the water reaching around knee level during higher tides. It’s a fun, refreshing way to start the tour and experience the Caribbean from a completely different perspective. This natural reserve overlooks the French island of St. Barth, a perfect stop for photos. Lamigeot is next, where you will have the experience of feeding the iguanas. From here, you drive into the French Quarter, the oldest village in St Martin, followed by the gastronomic capital of the Caribbean, Grand Case, arriving at Rambaud, where you can enjoy the views of the Hillside and rural landscape. Marigot is the next stop, where you will enjoy an hour at the charming capital town of French St. Martin. Take in the French atmosphere where shops line the colonial streets, and an open-air bazaar surrounds the central square for arts, crafts and souvenirs. There is time to shop on the Marigot waterfront. If you are feeling adventurous, climb up the 99 steps of Fort Louis, a superbly-restored fort built at the end of the 18th century. Take in the panoramic views of Anguilla and the French capital. Then let us turn up the adventure with a stop at Maho Beach, where you can watch planes approach just meters above the beach as they land at the adjacent Princess Juliana International Airport. See why this beach is rated the most exciting beach in the world! Your tour winds down with a journey through Simpson Bay towards Philipsburg and back to your ship.
