🌴 SXM Half-Day Volunteer & Cultural Experience (4 Hours) 📍 Location: Sint Maarten (Dutch Side) ⏰ Duration: 4 hours 👥 Group size: 1–20 participants 💰 Suggested donation per person: Minimum $50.00 per person (covers logistics + supports local orgs) ✅ Tour Overview Objective: Give back to the island through a short but impactful volunteer activity and enjoy a guided cultural experience with local hosts. 🕐 Itinerary (Sample: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM) 1. Welcome & Briefing – 30 mins Meet your host guide at the designated meeting point (hotel, cruise terminal, or central location) Short introduction to the island’s history, environment, and the day’s cause 2. Volunteer Activity – 1.5 to 2 hours Choose based on the day/availability: 1.Beach cleanup at Little Bay, Simpson Bay, or Mullet Bay 2.Community garden support or youth center beautification (paint mural, clean play areas) 3. Pack hygiene kits or food bags for local charities All tools, gloves, and materials provided. 3. Cultural Experience – 1 hour Enjoy a local snack (Johnny Cakes with gouda cheese & lemongrass ice tea) and talk with a community leader Visit to a selected foundation of the day 4.
